The Africa Progress Panel says world leaders must honour pledge to provide additional annual $100 billion in climate finance by 2020 in Africa.
Whilst the Copenhagen Accord includes the commitment to provide an additional annual $100 billion in climate finance by 2020 the source of this funding remains unresolved.

Response from Kofi Annan to Gordon Brown’s statement on financing for adaptation to climate change
I was delighted to see the British Prime Minister's statement this morning calling for the mobilisation of $100 billion per annum to help developing countries fight climate change.
